Beach Engagement Pictures at Swami’s in Encinitas

I love the beach, and I jump at every opportunity to take pictures at Swami’s beach in Encinitas. Scott and Tressa had a great time together and I am very happy with the photos  I came back with. It was a a beautiful sunny day and ended with a gorgeous sunset.

Swami’s is one of San Diego’s premier longboarding spots. Swami’s is also a beautiful location for engagement pictures too, if you don’t mind surfers in the background! The cliffs look great and they help to block the wind and the sand is really clean despite a little seaweed.

Scott and Tressa werent afraid to get sandy or wet, and I had a lot of fun getting to capture their beach engagement photos in Encinitas. I cant wait for their upcoming wedding, its going to be awesome! Congrats again Scott and Tressa! ~ Patrick

Falkner Winery | Beautiful Wedding Photography

Brandon & Serena’s beautiful wedding at the Falkner Winery in Temecula was a real joy to photograph! They have a great circle of friends with many talents. So many of them had a hand in at least one detail at their wedding. This included have a family member officiate the ceremony and a friend create the floral decorations. Though every detail was beautiful, the real heart of this wedding was TRUE LOVE which Brandon & Serena share with each other. I have been waiting for this day ever since their country style engagement session last year.

Falkner Winery was a great host and everyone really enjoyed themselves. One of my favorite features of Falkner is their porch outside the their tasting room. The lush green vines that frame the spectacular view of Temecula wine country are breathtaking. Seriously if you haven’t been to Falkner and tried their wine I highly recommend it.

There might be millions of people in Temecula, but it sure is a small town. When I showed up to the rehearsal the day before the wedding I found out that my cousin Bernie was a groomsmen! Im not one of those people that have hundreds of cousins either. It’s a small world after all!

You can tell a lot by how two people dance. Its obvious when you see Brandon and Serena dance that they were made for each other. Their expressions of heartfelt joy are contagious. With the camera’s viewfinder pressed against the side of my face, I photographed their first dance. And I couldn’t help but notice the camera shift upwards in my hands because I couldn’t keep from smiling. It was honestly a real pleasure to be apart of their very memorable wedding day as their Temecula Wedding Photographer!

Spring Engagement Photography in a Field of Temecula Wildflowers

We headed out to the outskirts of town for some fun engagement photography in Temecula. Its springtime now in Southern California so we hiked up to this little secret field of wild flowers. It required a little uphill hiking but was well worth it for the incredible views and feeling that you are on top of the world. It was like you could reach out and touch the clouds. I had a blast hanging out with Patrick and Lex and getting to know all about them. I think Lex was smiling the entire time and Patrick had cartoon hearts floating over him!

After he flower field we headed over to our friend’s ranch for some more engagement photographs. This was probably the most fun I have had taking photographs in a long time. Its gonna be tough to top this one! Im sure their wedding at The Grand Tradition is going to be even more beautiful, and I cant wait! Baby Addison: Another One of God’s Miracles

Last week I finally got to capture newborn photos of baby Addison. After being in the hospital and undergoing open heart surgery, Addison is a very happy little baby. Only by prayer and the grace of God did I have this opportunity to photograph baby Addison in her home.

Can I get a “Thank God hallelujah”?

I don’t understand why he calls some home early and not others but I trust he is in control. And I am so thankful that baby Addison is here with us today. Her parents are amazing and love her so much.

Praise the Lord for another miracle!

Cute Newborn Photography | Temecula Baby Pictures

Photographing newborn baby photographs in Temecula is very special to me. I love babies because they are so innocent and pure. When they sleep it is so peaceful and is probably me favorite time to photograph them.

Little Harper was such an angel and let her mamma pose her while she was asleep! I think she was all tuckered out from the outfit changes! This session was very personal because it took place at her Temecula home. Harper’s room is decorated so cute and it was the perfect place for her to be comfortable for some artistic newborn photographs.
